Love is the Only Solution to Climate Change

Love is the Only Solution to Climate Chang
As we most conscious human beings of today know, because of unconscious human activity, we are destroying the very nature, world, on which we depend to live. From agriculture to every aspect of the human lifestyle we are destroying the very environment of which we are a part and on which we depend to live.
Buddhist spiritual leader, Thich Nhat Hahn, with whom I have been studying for the last three years, rightly writes, that we, humanity are nature, so if we destroy nature we destroy ourselves.
Today, humanity has become conscious of its self destructive behavior but as of yet has been unable to change this same behavior.
We are faced with causing our own extinction consequently.
While scientists have well documented the human causes of global warming and the other environmental disasters which will result in our demise, Thich Nhat Hahn and other recognized global peace leaders have identified our human failings which have led us to behave in such a self destrucive manner.
And says global peace leader Thich Nhat Hahn, only love can save us from climate change and other environmental disaster resulting from our human lifestyle. Says Hahn and other peace leaders, it is humanity´s inability to face their own psychologial and emotional suffering which has caused them to destroy their own ecological home on Mother earth and themselves eventually.

Because humanity cannot face its own suffering, they run, says Hahn. They run from their own emotional  pain, largely created in childhood, passed down from their parents, Humanity runs from its emotional pain by trying to replace their suffering with pleasurable activities, by trying to make their lives easy and pleasurable, all the while failing to address and face the root cause of their pain which continues to cause them more and more suffering. Humanity is largely unconscious.
Humanity runs largely by consuming and more consuming to assuage its pain, all of which is directly responsible for our destruction of our ecological niche here on Earth.
We consume excesses of food produced in ways that destroy our ecological niche. We move our bodies  with cars, planes, trains and other forms of transportation which destroy our ecological niche. Our homes and everything about the so called modern, desirable way of life is unsustainable, i.e. destroys the environment upon which we depend to live, our ecological niche. We need things and more things, and we neeed to move faster and faster, and we need more and more and we need bigger and bigger. All, says Love is the Only Solution to Climate Change
