I, Maria C. Whittaker, the founder of Spiritual Agroecology: Human Spiritual Growth through Agroecology and Beyond, www.fssg.blogspot.com, and a long time member of the US food movement and beyond, have worked with Bettina Zumdick, the founder of this incredible Culinary Medicine School (Information below) for at least 5 years; it feels like 20! She has passed so much wisdom, love and healing to me!!
Bettina Zumdick, is a native of Romania in Eastern Europe. She is astute, gifted, ethical, wise, loving, humane, compassionate, profoundly intuitive, generous, experienced, and brilliant. Her work is working with healthy food, awareness, insight, compassion and profound wisdom and spirituality to heal the whole human being. Unlike much of traditional Western Medicine which disregards our human mind and spirit in treating "illnesses," Bettina is experienced, knowleadgeable, wise, astute and compassionate in working with the whole human being. She knows and profoundly understands how our thoughts, feelings, emotions, mental formations and more manifest in physical body pain, ilnesses and more. She also understands thus how to treat not only the physical symptoms but how to bring into our awareness, the underlying pschic suffering so it also can be adressesed and resolved. Often, stopping becoming and remaing aware, resting and treating with culinary medicine are enough to turn the corner on all ailments, albeit transforming body, mind and spirit are lifetime work as much, in terms of mind and body is inherited unconsciously from our parents and families of origin and cultures going back generations.
She is "IT," a true holistic healer, experienced, wise, skillfull, compassionate and loving, with divine insight and divinely guided. You would be truly blessed and healed to work with her. I know I am and have been.
I highly recommend Bettina Zumdick and the

Read her professional biography and history below. She got much of her culinary training at the Kushi Institute which used the macrobiotic diet and beyond for healing. I have found her Culinary and beyond medicine to be powerful and successfull.
I honestly cannot recommend Bettina and her Culinary Medicine School enough!!!!!! Those of you who know me, know I have extremely high standards. Bettina excells those!!!!
